We always love birthdays at our house. McKay woke up to the morning he turned 2 with balloons in his room. His brothers thought he would like them better if they were in his bed. He did.
Josh had to work in the morning, so we postponed most of the gift giving until night so he could be there. But there was one present at his place.
His brothers were kind enough to help him open it.
We had pancakes with
cinnamon syrup for breakfast. Usually our kids get to pick what they want, but we just guessed on what McKay likes...
He did like the pancakes. Especially with sprinkles.
For dinner that night we had french bread, glazed carrots and a platter full of Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets. McKay loves those :)
And then we did presents. McKay has two loves right now. Lightening McQueen, and Mickey Mouse. He was thrilled to get his McQueen "throne" as we call it.
He sat in it the rest of the night. He loves it.
And a Mickey shirt!
He has asked to wear it every day since he got it.
Once again the boys were good to help him open his presents (although he is getting pretty good at it himself).
Grandma Ann gave him a little four wheeler to ride around on. His brothers also loved this gift :)
Then we had cupcakes and ice cream.
It was a fun birthday. We have loved our 2 years of having McKay in our family!

Thanks Shell, I did love how much fun our mom made everything. Brittanny-I definitely post a lot. I just want to remember it all!
