Our sweet and silly Hunter turned 6 last week. We have 4 out of the 6 of our family's birthdays in a month. It gets a bit wild trying to do two birthdays in a row. We try hard to make sure that Hunter's birthday feels special and not just like it's the left overs of McKay's birthday. Josh redecorated the night before Hunter's birthday.
Hunter woke up one happy boy and was so excited for PRESENTS!

He had "thin pancakes" for his birthday breakfast (that is my favorite breakfast too :)
I took he and McKay to lunch before Hunter had to go to Kindergarten.
They had a great time playing together and Hunter was such a cute big brother and took good care of McKay. Hunter also made some new friends (I love how little kids are so great at just loving other kids at first sight. If they are breathing, my boys will be their friends :)
Later that night after a fun visit to the doctor to find out McKay had a double ear infection, we headed to Red Robin with Grandma Ann for dinner.
He got to open Grandma Ann's present and was sure excited about it.
Our cute waitress brought Hunter this delectable dessert for his birthday.
She brought McKay some yummy ice cream.
We had brought cupcakes from the "Sweet Tooth Fairy" and Hunter blew out a candle.
It was a fun birthday and a little bit different than they way we usually celebrate birthdays. It was fun to mix it up a little bit. We also went later that week to Classic Skating to finish up the celebrating. We were going to do it the night of the birthday, but with the ear infection and doctor's visit, we didn't have time. It was fun to have more time on Saturday anyway. Post to come :)
