Fabric Pom Pom Garland Tutorial

A while ago my sisters, mom and I threw a bridal shower for my little sister Michelle.  I tried to post tutorials for most of the things that I did for it, but I forgot to do this one for the fabric pom pom garland that I made (the garland hanging under the pictures).  I initially saw the idea here and loved it, but I couldn't figure out their tutorial.  I was determined to make it and spent a bit figuring out a different way to do it.
First I cut out 9-11 circles (The more circles you use, the fuller the pom pom.  I used 11).  I traced a spool of thread for my circles.
Then you fold each of the circles in half
 And then in half again.
And then I put my threaded needle through the corner of it.
I kept all of my triangles on the needle until I was ready to pull it through.
I used black thread so you could see what I was doing, but normally I would use white or pink.  I pulled the thread all of the way through...
and then looped the needle around and stuck it back through the first triangle only.
 Closer look.
and then pulled it tight and tied it off.  There.  You are done with your pom pom.

To put it on the garland I bought some string and threaded it through the little circle that is made by looping the thread, and then tied a knot in the string on both sides of the pom pom so it  didn't slide around.
After I figured it out, it was so fast.  Really not a hard thing at all.  I think this would be cute to add to an holiday decor as well...I just might make some for Valentine's Day since I don't even own one Valentine decoration.
