Birthday Dinner with Kristen

I have so many things that I haven't posted, I just haven't had a second to sit down and edit the pictures!  Last night my lovely friend Kristen came and took me to dinner for my birthday.  Can I tell you how much I love this girl (she is going to absolutely hate this post...sorry Kris!)  She has been my friend since freshman year at USU back in 1996.  She is one of those people that I feel Heavenly Father made sure that we met.  He knew that she would be a blessing in my life over and over, and she has been.  I am grateful daily for her friendship (hope we are still friends after she reads this...)

We went to the Union Grill for dinner, which has been a tradition with us every year when we go to the Nutcracker at Weber State.  This year we weren't able to go to that version of the Nutcracker so we didn't eat here and both of us thought that needed to be remedied.  We got our "usual" appetizer of fresh mozerella,  fresh basil, tomatoes, pesto and balsamic vinegar (I think I need to make this at home, it is to die for!)  We just had to most wonderful evening full of chatting and laughing and an all around lovely time.  Thank you Kristen for the fun night and the years of being such a wonderful friend.
