Birthday Date to Brian Regan

Josh and I love Brian Regan.  We love to sit and watch his stand up comedy on You Tube and laugh until our stomach hurt.  Last time he came to Utah, Josh tried to get tickets...he didn't.  He sells out pretty fast here (Mormons love clean comedy :)  This year we tried to get tickets again...we didn't again.  They added a few more shows, but we found out after they had been sold out.  So I wrote it off.

On Tuesday Josh asked me on an early birthday date for the next night (he really did ask me out, like he use to when we were dating...I liked it)  He told me to dress up and that is all the instruction he gave me.  Now, I like to dress up...a lot.  I really didn't want to be OVER dressed though and so I called him right before our date and asked him exactly what dress up meant.  He told me "dress like you are going to watch someone really fun do stand up comedy."  I was so EXCITED!!!!  That is when he told me that he had watched every day for some tickets to open up and they DID!!!!

He took me to dinner at Spencer's for dinner before the show (the food there was heavenly) and then we headed to see BRIAN REGAN!!!  It was as good as I had hoped it would be and we both laughed until our stomachs hurt (that is the best kind of laughing to me).  The other thing that was my favorite part is that Josh isn't really an out loud laugher (I am a LOUD laugher) he will do a silent laugh at funny things, but it has to be REALLY funny for Josh to laugh hard.  He did through all of Brian Regan, I think I watched him as much as I watched the show!  I love to watch him laugh, it's pretty cute :)  We had a fantastic night and it was a seriously fantastic beginning to a seriously fun birthday (which was yesterday.  I am 34, and I think I like that age.)
